History
1982Foundation of HAVELSANThe company was established under the name HAVELSAN-AYDIN.
1985Commencement of OperationsOperations began under the name HAVELSAN, with 98% of the capital owned by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV).
1996Electronic Warfare Test and Training Range (EWTTR)Development activities for the Electronic Warfare Test and Training Range began.
1997Air Force Integrated Command and Control System (AICCS)The contract for the Air Force Integrated Command and Control System (AICCS) Project was signed.
1997F16 Avionics-OFP/SILProject to update mission software for new sensors and munitions on the Air Force Command’s fighter jets.
2000National Judiciary Informatics System Project (UYAP)The National Judiciary Informatics System Project began.
2001Land Registry and Cadaster Information System (TAKBİS)The project for the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadaster Information System began.
2002CN235 Full Flight SimulatorThe contract for the CN-235 Level D Flight Simulator with the Republic of Korea was signed.
2003Peace Eagle Airborne Early Warning and Control SystemThe Peace Eagle Airborne Early Warning and Control System project began.
2003Meltem ProjectThe Maritime Patrol and Surveillance Aircraft (MELTEM) project began.
2005Election Informatics System (SEÇSİS)The Election Informatics System (SEÇSİS) project began.
2005Helicopter Simulators Project (HELSIM)The HELSIM contract for integrated helicopter simulator training services with the Secretariat of Defense Industries (SSB) was signed.
2005Genesis Combat Management System (CMS)The Genesis Combat Management System (CMS) project began.
2006Ship Data Distribution System (SDDS)The Ship Data Distribution System (SDDS) project began.
2007MİLGEMThe contract for the MİLGEM 1-2 Combat Systems was signed.
2008New Type Patrol Boat System IntegrationThe contract for the procurement and integration of electronic and weapon systems for the New Type Patrol Boat System was signed.
2008Pakistan Artillery Forward Observer Training SimulatorThe Pakistan Artillery Forward Observer Training Simulator was delivered to the Pakistan Army School of Artillery.
2009Turkish State Railways (TCDD) Enterprise Resource Planning SystemThe Turkish State Railways (TCDD) Enterprise Resource Planning project began.
2009F-16 Weapon and Tactical Trainer Simulator (F-16 SIM)The contract for the F-16 Weapon and Tactical Trainer Simulator (F-16 SIM) was signed.
2010ADVENTThe Network Supported Data Integrated Combat Management System (ADVENT) project began in collaboration with the Turkish Naval Forces Command ARMERKOM.
2010Cougar Helicopter SimulatorThe contract for the Cougar Helicopter Simulator was signed.
2012Submarine Diving Simulator (DEDAS)The contract for the Submarine Diving Simulator (DEDAS) was signed with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).
2013Joint Command and Control Information System (DOOB)The project for the Joint Command and Control Information System for the Army and Air Forces began.
2013HAVELSAN Integrated Sonar Submarine Command and Control System (SEDA)The HAVELSAN Integrated Sonar Submarine Command and Control System (SEDA) project began.
2013Coastal Surveillance Radar System (CSRS)The Coastal Surveillance Radar System (CSRS) project for the Coast Guard Command began.
2014Atak Helicopter Simulator (ATAKSIM)The Atak Helicopter Simulator (ATAKSIM) project began.
2016City Security Management System (CSMS)The City Security Management System (CSMS) project began.
2016BOTAŞ Pipeline SecurityThe "Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Security Project" field implementation phase 1 project began.
2017Qatar JWTCThe contract for the Joint Warfare Training Center project was signed with the Qatar Armed Forces. The AW139 Helicopter Simulator Training Center was opened in Doha for the Qatar Armed Forces.
2017Export of Joint Command and Control Information System (DOOB)The Joint Command and Control Information System (DOOB) was exported to the Ministry of Defense of Oman.
2018Strait and Vessel Traffic Management System (VTS)The Strait and Vessel Traffic Management System (VTS) project began.
2018First Civil Full Flight Simulator Delivered to Turkish Airlines (THY)The BOEING 737-800 NG was delivered and received Level D certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
2019Export of Armored Land Vehicle SimulatorThe Armored Land Vehicle Simulator AV8 was exported to the Malaysian Armed Forces.
2019National Biometric Data Management ProjectThe National Biometric Data Management Project began under the management of BİYOTEKSAN, a partnership between the Police Care and Assistance Fund (POLSAN) and HAVELSAN.
2020DİYALOG (Local Video Conference Platform)The local video conference platform DİYALOG was made available to institutions.
2020National Combat Aircraft (MMU)A contract was signed with TAI for software development for Türkiye’s 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft project, the National Combat Aircraft.
2021Digital Troop TechnologyThe Digital Troop project, based on autonomous driving and swarm capability of unmanned surface, air, and ground vehicles, began. The Armed Unmanned Autonomous Ground Vehicle BARKAN was introduced for the first time.
2022SANCAR Armed Unmanned Autonomous Surface VehicleThe armed unmanned autonomous surface vehicle SANCAR, which will integrate the ADVENT SYS, was produced in partnership with HAVELSAN and Yonca Onuk Shipyard and successfully completed its initial tests.
2022First Heavy-Class Unmanned Autonomous Ground VehicleTürkiye's first heavy-class unmanned autonomous ground vehicle, KAPGAN, was introduced at SAHA EXPO.
