Yüksel Aksöz

Yüksel AKSÖZ is graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics at the Military Academy in 1984. Later on, he completed basic officer leaders’ course at Communication Electronic Information Systems School and Training Center between 1984-1985, the Military Academy in 1996, and the Armed Forces Academy in 2001.
He served as a retired Communications Staff Colonel, and between 1985 and 2000, he served as Platoon Commander, Company Commander, Battalion Commander in the Battalions, Project Officers, Branch Managers and Department Heads in the Headquarters respectively.
In 2000, he served in Georgia for 6 months as an advisor to the Georgian Chief of General Staff and the Minister of Defense and as the Chairman of the Advisory and Coordination Board to the Georgian Armed Forces.
Between 2001 and 2005, he served as Head of the General Staff Communications Electronic Information Systems Plan Coordination Department, Plan Action Branch, 11th Infantry Brigade, 1st Infantry Battalion Commander, and Chief of Staff of the 11th Infantry Brigade.
Between 2005 and 2007, he served as Command Group Management Planning Branch Manager and Deputy Turkish Senior Officer at NATO Headquarters in Naples/Italy.
He served as Deputy Commander of the 49th Motorized Infantry Brigade between 2007 and 2009.
Between 2009 and 2013, he served as Chief of Staff and Deputy Brigade Commander, Land Forces Logistics Planning Department Logistics Foreign Relations Branch Manager, Land Forces Logistics Command Planning and Coordination Department Programs Project Management Branch Manager, Land Forces Logistics Planning Department Head.
He served as the Deputy Head of the Mobilization and War Preparations Department of the General Secretariat of the National Security Council between 2013 and 2014, and as the Head of the Mobilization and War Preparations Department between 2014 and 2015.
He retired from the Turkish Armed Forces in 2015.
As a Board Member he serves at TEKNOHAB A.Ş since 27.12.2019 and at HAVELSAN A.Ş. since 18.04.2019.
He was appointed as Corporate Deputy General Manager at MKE A.Ş. as of 25.06.2024.
Yüksel AKSÖZ, who is married and has two children, speaks English.
