HAYAT Association
The HAVELSAN HAYAT Social Aid Community Association was established in 2022, marking HAVELSAN’s 40th anniversary, as part of a social responsibility initiative. The association aims to support the material and financial needs of our employees or their relatives in need within HAVELSAN. Additionally, it extends assistance to those in need outside of HAVELSAN, particularly in response to disaster-related emergencies, both within our country and internationally.
Shortly after its establishment, the HAYAT Association responded to the needs of our citizens affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes on February 6. Through rapid organization within HAVELSAN and contributions from entirely volunteer HAVELSAN employees, the association worked to heal the wounds of our nation. The HAYAT Association not only addressed the needs of citizens in the earthquake-affected region and other provinces but also organized activities for children and provided medical support for HAVELSAN employees.
HAYAT Association undertook its first international relief effort in September 2023 in response to the devastating flood in Libya, which results in thousands of deaths.
Within the Hayat Association, volunteer HAVELSAN employees who conduct awareness activities and help identify those in need are known as HAYAT Ambassadors.
The logo of the HAYAT Association features a line that encompasses the word “life”, symbolizing trust and protection-elements that have always been fundamental from the dawn of humanity to the present day. The included butterfly silhouette represents HAVELSAN, embodying the delicate theme of bringing beauty and hope to many lives.
