The rapid change of digital technologies has also changed security needs. Cyber threats and attacks have also changed with the transfer of data to the digital environment, and cyber-attacks, which were carried out by simpler methods and individuals with certain competence in the past, have now become more frequent, complex and destructive at the state level.
The fact that 90% of global trade activities are conducted via the seas has highlighted the need for solutions to accelerate transportation and enhance navigational safety.
The research and development of the architecture that will enable blockchain and centralized databases to work together has been completed by our expert staff and a new hybrid model has been created. As a result of these studies, 3 innovative methods were developed in the field of blockchain, 3 patents were applied for and 7 academic publications were made. On the other hand, we are implementing blockchain technologies in the Digital Turkish Lira Project. At the same time, blockchain-based e-tender application is also being developed within our company.
Studies on quantum computing have gained considerable momentum in recent years. It is planned to carry out studies with the aim of both gaining technological competence and contributing to the training of pioneering personnel in engineering fields for quantum computing that will be needed in the future.
