Critical facilities and critical infrastructures are the structures and systems essential for the maintenance of societal order by providing and sustaining services such as security, energy, transportation, health, and finance. Protecting the functionality of these facilities and infrastructures against sabotage, terrorist attacks, or natural disasters is of great importance.

Under the Security of Oil and Natural Gas Pipelines Project, systems developed for the protection of oil and natural gas transmission lines and related facilities are actively serving in the field. This Integrated Security System includes fixed and mobile cameras, security radars, fiber optic sensors, access control systems, and physical security units.

HAVELSAN also provides operational technology (OT) data collection, asset discovery, and network traffic for communication of OT-based system devices with its defense solution platform developed against cyber attacks against Critical Infrastructures (Energy, Production, Water, Nuclear Facilities, Factory and Automation, etc.). It also provides monitoring, in-depth package analysis, OT process traceability and process analysis solutions. The platform performs continuous monitoring and anomaly detection with signature-based, process analysis (process)-based and artificial intelligence-based methods, and the relevant configurations are managed through the central management system.
