Savaş Yanık

Command Control and Defense Technologies
Savaş YANIK was born in 1974 and obtained his BS degree from Middle East Technical University majoring in Electric/Electronics Engineering. YANIK holds a MBA degree from Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester.
In 1997, he started his career as an Assistant Specialist in Presidency for Defense Industries. Over next 13 years, YANIK performed various duties as the Technical Projects Manager of Satellite and Command & Control Systems, Manager of Air Defense Programs, and Manager of Guided Missile Programs.
Between 2010-2012, YANIK worked as the Department Head of Engineering and Contracts and between 2012-2014 as the Vice President in BOTAŞ. Throughout the tour of duty in BOTAŞ, YANIK served as the President of International NABUCCO Acquisition Committee, the Member of NABUCCO Steering Committee, and the Member of TURUSGAZ Board of Directors.
In June 2014, YANIK joined HAVELSAN as R&D Director. In November 2014, YANIK has appointed as Vice President of Operations at HAVELSAN.
Since August 2017, YANIK has been serving as Vice President of C4ISR, engaging mainly the following activites:
- Command, Control and Information Systems,
- Airborne Early Warning and Air Command and Control Systems
- Surface Command, Control and Combat Systems
- Subsurface Command, Control and Combat Systems
- Platform Data Distribution Systems
- Tactical Data Link Systems
- Performance-Based Logistics
