Turkish Defence Industry Showcases Technological Strength at the 5th NATO Maritime Security Conference

The 5th Maritime Security Conference, organized by the NATO Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE), was held on June 24–25, 2025, at the National Defence University. We proudly participated as a technology partner of the Turkish Naval Forces and NATO.

The conference was honored by the distinguished presence of Admiral Dr. Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, and served as a high-level platform for sharing innovative solutions and strategic vision in maritime security.

Our showcased systems and solutions, which attracted great interest at the event, included:

• MATRA (Mobile Amphibious Tactical Radar Vehicle): Designed for coastal and maritime operations, MATRA is a mobile radar system providing superior performance in coastal surveillance and early warning missions. It is easily deployable across various terrains.
• SANCAR USV (Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle): A medium-class, remotely operated armed surface vehicle, SANCAR is used in missions such as reconnaissance, patrolling, and port protection. Its onboard weapon systems offer both deterrent and offensive capabilities.
• BAHA (Mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle): A compact, vertical take-off and landing UAV designed for rapid deployment in the field. BAHA excels in border security and coastal monitoring missions with its GPS-independent operation and plug-and-play design.
• BOZBEY UAV (Medium Altitude Tactical UAV): A tactical UAV operating at medium altitudes with extended endurance. BOZBEY supports reconnaissance and surveillance missions and is fully compatible with the Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) concept.

In addition to these advanced platforms, we presented our technological perspective on the Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) concept, highlighting its relevance to future threat environments.

On the first day of the conference, we delivered a special presentation titled "Unmanned Systems and Technologies for Maritime Security," which was closely followed by a multinational audience of 255 participants from 22 countries. The presentation explored the growing role and practical applications of unmanned systems in maritime security.
